“Only when Little Lord Fuckleroy over here pushes me to it,” snarls Cassandra, without thinking nor turning around.
Eugene bursts out laughing, almost dropping the tomato jar, as Rapunzel gasps, “CASS,” in a voice truly aghast by her friend’s crassness. Any other day and Cassandra one hundred percent would have bit her tongue, but the nausea and the wisecracks and the overwhelming food smells all have her at the end of her rope.
“I can’t even be mad at that,” Eugene cackles, shaking his head in disbelief and falling into step beside her. “Where did you even pull that one from?”
