Summary
The hair was sandy with silvery tones. His face absolutely did not convey the age of gray. In addition, under the sun they still gave off golden reflections of a distant past.
He didn't look tired, but the stress was evident in the hurried ways as well as the worry. No he seemed more than stressed. He looked haunted. It was certainly not what Sherlock expected but his ruthless instincts screamed at him fiercely that this was his thief.
He ran a finger along the shape moving away from Tesco, then slammed his hand hard on the table and crumpled the paper into his hand.

It didn’t know how it knew that, and that distress hammered down on its chest, making it feel like it was falling, falling, spinning out of control—
Everything went blank. All it could feel was the hilt of its sword against its sweaty hands, all it could hear was Fennec’s steady breathing at its back.
All it could see was two threats.
Or, an AU of DaFlangstLairde’s Turtle and the Fox, where Leo isn’t found immediately after being kidnapped by Fennec, but instead spends a year with him. Angst ensues.

Leo's in for a rude awakening when he gets hit by a mind-reading spell that reveals his family doesn't think of him as highly as he convinced himself they'd do. It's hard to accept.
Therefore he won't! Denial all the way!
(oh yeah, he also got hurt pretty bad during spell casting, but he's sure that's not important and won't have any effect on how his family treats and thinks about him at all.)

When a run in with Donnie’s growing list of enemies from witch town leaves him and Leo to deal with a nasty spell, the after effects have Leo reeling. He’s determined to play things cool and brush it off, despite his brothers’ growing suspicions at his changing behavior. He’s the leader, after all, he should be able to handle it!
