“Would it help––should I bring my dinner in too?” Grace jokes, smiling in preparation for the absolute symphony of disgusted whistles he knows Rocky will produce at the thought of them doing something as depraved as sharing a meal. “I’ve been saving this week’s half packet of ramen for just such an occasion––”
A torrent of sound not unlike four harmonizing freight train whistles bursts from Rocky, the shifting plates of carapace at the top of what Grace thinks of as his “head-and-torso” rattling rapidly. Twin puffs of superheated air escape his vents, and there’s a ringing in Grace’s ears as he watches a glass beaker vibrate itself off the edge of the lab table near them and onto the floor with a loud clang. He squeezes his eyes shut, bracing for a shatter that never arrives, then stares in disbelief at the scene before him.

Pomni had been doing solo adventures for quite some time. Time alone may not be so great 24/7, so she seeks companionship of a dual adventure in none other than Caine, after thinking of a suitable partner. Caine, wanting to understand more about the complexity of human companionships in order to make his adventures more immersive, accepts. Slowly, as Caine begins to delve deeper about the concept of human relationships, Pomni realises her growing feelings of endearment towards the AI. That also meant grappling with other conflicting thoughts that plague her mind, including the desire of leaving the circus, which meant losing Caine.

Pomni thinks she can feel Caine out there somewhere—alone, confused, distressed. Kinger says it may be possible to save him, to save them all—but to do so, one must enter the code, and somehow, against all odds, make their way back out. Pomni will have to go alone, and see a side of Caine that he never wanted anyone to see. But can she get through to him, and does he even want to be found?

Peach opened the parcel with delicate fingers and read it carefully, her eyes widening with each subsequent word. She let her hands drop to her sides, gave her husband-to-be a bewildered stare, and bit her lip before saying-
“No, it’s an acceptance. Bowser has agreed to come to our wedding.”
