Summary
Upon hearing his name being mentioned, the black-clad man merely tips his head in acknowledgement. “And Mr Wolfwood is …?” Vash begins, as if he’s supposed to recognise that strange man with his equally strange-looking crossbow. There’s a hint of a crucifix incorporated seamlessly into its prod and tiller, making the overall design look way bigger than the standard-shaped crossbow weaponry that archers normally wield.
“Hunter,” the man drawls at once. He takes this as a cue to approach them with a laidback gait imbued with the right amount of poise that serves as a warning to the next fool looking for trouble. All at once, Vash knows better not to end up at the receiving end of his bad side. “Nicholas D. Wolfwood, at your service.”

When magicless warlock Vash meets hunter Nicholas D. Wolfwood, he chalks it up as happenstance. It's not every day you meet a guy with the right amount of confidence and the perfect level of aim to take down creatures causing havoc. With werewolves attacking towns at random, Vash supposes it is only wise that they team up.
But everyone else knows the story. After all, is anything with Nicholas D. Wolfwood by chance, ever?

Summary
When a half dozen severely neglected horses arrive at Hopeland Farm Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in the middle of winter, Nicholas D. Wolfwood isn't happy that his usual vet is out. However, the new vet, one Vash Saverem, seems to know his stuff. Wolfwood quickly finds himself calling Vash out to Hopeland for less and less urgent reasons. As they spend more time together, neither can say they were prepared for the feelings that arise or what results from them.

Summary
The glass displays row after row of little chocolates and candies, each with a simple label listing the item and any allergens the item contains. Wolfwood is squinting inside, trying to figure out what the fuck a “chocolate haystack” is supposed to be, when there’s another clatter and someone stumbles out of the back room.
Wolfwood’s first thought is, Damn, he’s cute. And he is—big blue eyes, a riot of blond spikes he wants to run his fingers through, a sheepish smile.
Wolfwood’s second thought, the one he verbalizes, is, “Oh my god no.” Because the guy is wearing a red apron and, above a couple brightly-colored pins, a black and white paisley bandana.
The guy snorts and says, pointedly, “Howdy.”
