Summary
In the joint space between their minds Viktor's form is as malleable as he so desires and today, although he is maybe 50 stories tall, he looks like the young man Jayce spent late nights with in a laboratory, short hair, mischievous smile, and all.
" Coming to so soon?" Viktor croons down at him. His voice curls around the words but does not echo in the mindscape, it stays personal, almost a whisper.
Jayce yawns and rubs at his stubbled jaw with a glowing hand " Figure I left you alone long enough, wouldn't want you to get bored Vik."
A shadow is cast over Jayce's head as a single, massive, finger materializes above him to pet gently down his back.
He shivers feeling the warm pressure all over as Viktor repeats the gesture, stroking Jayce like he's a particularly interesting creature Viktor picked up from the ground.
"Hmm, I suppose you could offer me sufficient entertainment."

Summary
The first thing he notices when he opens his eyes is that it’s bright. The second thing he notices is that, well, he’s back in the workshop. Their workshop. He stares up at the familiar ceiling and thinks: what the fuck?
“Jayce?” An achingly familiar voice calls, startling him out of his stupor. “Are you alright?”
He’s up before his brain can comprehend what his body is doing. His hands grip the other’s shoulders as he looks him over, eyes unable to settle on any single part of his partner.

He will go back to before everything started; before Hextech, before the Hexcore, before Viktor's health worsened. Before that explosion in his apartment that set everything in his life into motion.

TLDR; An AU where instead of being teleported to a destroyed Piltover, Jayce is transported to a timeline where he and Viktor are happy, married and in love.
Aching to change the past and save his own Viktor, he uses his brilliant mind and expertise as a scientist to create a device that allows him to turn back time-- and his endeavors are successful.
Jayce travels eight years into the past and inhabits the body of his 23 year old self. Determined to change Viktor's fate and use their shared creations to help the people of Zaun, the two meet again for the very first time-- and fall in love all over again.

His astral form solidifies completely into something as close to physical as is possible in this place. Something naked and vulnerable and hungry. He hums softly against Viktor's throat, pressing kisses along any part he can reach. Viktor cradles him close, a low purr building in his chest with each passing moment.
"Wait."
Jayce goes still.
"Let me set you down. There is something I wish to show you."
