Jax furrows her brow, eyes trained on her untouched glass of whiskey, refusing to meet her ex girlfriend's two toned eyes. "What kind of fucking question is that?" She finally asks, reaching out and picking up her glass—it makes it halfway to her lips before she changes her mind, setting it back on the table.
Pomni hums to herself and Jax chances a look, finding her staring off to her left, watching the other bar patrons. In hindsight, maybe it wasn't the best idea to meet at a bar, specifically this one.
