Summary
Harry has never been truly alone, not with his red and gold guardian looking out for him. The Dursley's used to tell him to stop talking to an imaginary person, but Ari is different, she isn't imaginary or a person. She's been a part of him and his magic since before he even knew it existed.
Out of fear for her safety, he's always kept her a secret, but after the tragic events of the Triwizard Tourament, she is forced into the light. Some call her a familiar, some call her a specter, others just call her unnatural, but with Voldemort's return what she is doesn't matter as much as what she can do.
Basically, what if there was a good version of an obscurial that protected the child and their magic instead of consumed them?

MJ shrugged. “They could have expelled you instead.”

“And shopping,” Peter added, reaching in and pulling his ever growing list from his pocket.
Tony reached out and snatched it out of his hands, glancing at it. “Kid,” he said, eyes reaching the end. “You know you don’t need to get presents for every person you’ve ever spoken to.”
“Uh,” Peter said, blushing just a little, he knew his list was a little long this year, but he had met a lot of new people recently.
“You’ve got Danvers on here, you’ve only said, what like 5 full sentences to her?”
“She saved the universe multiple times, Tony. I feel like I’m obligated to get her something.”
“I saved the universe multiple times too and I’m not even on your list,” Tony added. “And Groot, what on Earth do you get a tree?”
“I was thinking of a really cool ornament,” Peter supplied grinning, he knew Tony was just joking around with him. He loved their new dynamics more than anything else in the world. “And I’m getting you something, you’re just not on the list because you’re with me. Presents are supposed to be surprises.”

Summary
After Spider-man is revealed to be Peter Parker, SHIELD presents the world a new, different Peter Parker and chalks the reveal up to mistaken identity. In order to protect those he loves, Peter is forced to hang up the suit and let someone else be Spider-man for a while.
Feeling like he’s lost his identity, Peter tries to be the high school senior as he should be, without being Spider-man. How does Peter balance what he feels is a potential new threat with his promise to stay away from the suit? Peter’s been without the suit before, but what is he without the name Spider-man?
