    Summary

Danny’s looking at him like he’s crazy. His hair’s dried up into a mess of waves, and there’s some tomato seeds on the corner of his mouth. “You just bailed me out of jail. And you think this is a good idea?”

“I don’t have bad ideas, Fenton. And like you’ve just said, I have collateral on you.”

“So you’re blackmailing me into pretending to date you?”

Tim shrugs. “Or you could just sign the NDA.”

    OR

Danny's trying to recover all the shards to an entity's chalice so that it'll stop destroying the zone while tensions rise amongst his subjects- and trying to finish high school.

Tim's juggling his case load, his work as CEO, and does not have time to be embroiled in a sex scandal right now. If that means he has to pretend to date a very suspicious heir to a rival company, then so be it.

It's a mutually beneficial relationship. So what if Tim's becoming a little too intrigued by the illusive, powerful Phantom? So what if Danny can't stand the Justice League for leaving him to deal with all of Amity's problems when he was just 14? That's a superhero thing.

And their fake boyfriend has no clue that they're a superhero.

One of those all-too-frequent moments where Moon does something utterly un-Raksuran (or alternately, doesn't know something all Raksura should know), and Chime has to help him without it getting too embarrassing for either of them. Other characters welcome if desired!

“It is not your concern,” ART said. “They are no longer your clients.”
That was true. They weren’t my clients. But they used to be, and the thought of them going off by themselves to get chewed on by hostile fauna or whatever was doing funny things to my performance reliability.
I didn’t say that out loud, but ART knew I was thinking it anyway, because it’s a monster.
“For a construct that claims to hate its function, you are remarkably dedicated to it.” ART does this thing sometimes where it says something that sounds like a compliment but in such an obnoxious tone that it feels like an insult anyway.
    “Fuck off, ART.”
    “You fuck off.”
So, I decided to go on the survey.

Several years after they met on RaviHyral, Tapan and her collective contact Murderbot with a job offer. As their security consultant on a planetary survey, Murderbot must contend with malfunctioning equipment, hostile fauna, and an overabundance of human emotion, all while maintaining its increasingly fragile disguise as an augmented human.

    Summary

The building begins to fall around Robin at a violent pace. He’s gripping the silver bar tightly now. It won’t be long. The floor is shaking, the roof is falling, and he thinks of that happy place of his, that memory, and then he desperately whispers the words engraved on the bar—

Nothingness. For an instant, there is absolute nothingness.

    And then—

Robin opens his eyes. For a moment, he wonders if he’s made it to the afterlife. He’s on that hill again, and next to him is the picnic basket. He could smell the cheese laid out next to the chocolate that he and Ramy had spent too much of their money on. His eyes begin to water at the sight.

    “Birdie?”

    ---

Before Robin dies in the collapse of Babel, he gets a second chance to do it all over again. He’s not going to waste it.
