Summary
Jecka never really had many thoughts on the red string of fate, but now she's really questioning what it says about her that Nicole of all people is apparently her soulmate. It doesn't help that the string is inviting all kinds of weirdness into her life that they never covered in health class. Like the way it's sometimes solid. Or the way Nicole touching it sometimes feels way too much like touching her. And that's even before the insane experiments start. But of course, since Nicole's a trolling asshole, letting her know what she's doing to Jecka would be giving her way too much power. Jecka can wait. Nicole's sure to get bored eventually.

Summary
Jecka thought she had enough problems as one of a handful of survivors from the night Kylar went postal and shot up one of the Kelly's parties, only to wake up in the hospital with a fucked up hip and a dead best friend. But one year later, here she is waking up with the hangover of a lifetime... And said ex-best friend floating next to her bed, just as bitchy and hard to pin down as ever. And also apparently a demon now. Whoops.
Now Nicole wants her to make a contract to get her out of Hell on a more permanent basis, and all Jecka wants is to keep her head down and ride out the last three months to graduation so she can head for the west coast. Which would be a lot easier if someone didn't seem to have it out for the survivors... And if Nicole could stop trying to seduce her. Questionably.
