    Summary

    A series on (mis)communication, starring Shane and Ilya as they navigate their relationship (plus Rose and Svetlana, eventually). Kind of a mosaic of missing moments, Hollanov revisiting early relationship lore and sometimes just having some (horny) fun.

    Fics are meant to be read as standalone stories, but contain references to one another. They span from pre-cottage to married life. I tried to arrange them chronologically, but the 5+1s are all over the place time-wise.

    “Many,” Shane was now hugging him trying to reach the bottle in Ilya's hand. “I also googled possible side effects, if it's safe to take with your meds and if it shows up in doping tests.”
    “And then you bought a tiny bottle from strange man in a filthy bathroom in another country,” Ilya said.
    “Well how else are you supposed to buy-” He whispered the last word: “-drugs?” It was stupidly adorable.
    “You're a bad influence, Shane Hollander,” he held his husband tight so he would stop wrestling and kissed him.

    Ilya held Shane’s jaw like he did that first night and kissed him softly. “Yes, you should have, because I love learning new things about you, Hollander.”
    “That’s nice. Almost worth the embarrassment of telling you I tied a whole-ass tie for a quick hookup,” Shane said, opening his eyes.
    “Ah,” Ilya said, seeming to remember something, and opened a mischievous smile. “But I bet that was not the most embarrassed one of us felt that night.”
    “I highly doubt that.”
    “I bet I win,” Ilya sang a little.
    “This is not a competition,” Shane said. “Or if it is, it’s the weirdest one we’ve ever had.”
