Summary
Sasuke clung to the hope that the high priest would help them. It was his only option. The image of Orochimaru, with his cold smile and eyes full of malice, crossed his mind. If the priest rejected them, they would have no choice but to accept the serpent's sinister proposal.
Sasuke clenched his fists. The idea of allying himself with Orochimaru made him feel sick to his stomach. He would rather die than submit to the will of that monster

Summary
Summer had arrived mercilessly lashing out at the village of Konoha, its streets, and all its inhabitants alike. It wasn’t ordinary heat; it was a suffocating oppressive heat that seeped through the cracks in the houses, a fever that clung to the skin like a second layer, sweaty and stifling. The atmosphere itself seemed to thicken, laden with an unnatural stillness, that kind of lethargy that robs you of hunger, speech, and, above all, the will to move.
It was a weariness that seeped into the bones, leaving you plunged into a state of utter stupor. On days like these, the world lost its vibrant colors, becoming a scene of elongated shadows and still air. There was no choice but to surrender, seeking refuge in the deepest shade or lying down on the cool wooden floor, waiting, with dulled senses, for the sun to finally yield.

Summary
Just like now, when the two of them were sitting on the sofa, with the fan spinning at full speed in front of them. And to combat the suffocating heat trapped inside the house a little more, Kakashi always bought some fresh fruit at the market, this time blueberries, perfect for eating while watching whatever was on TV. Sasuke, sprawled out taking up most of the sofa, would occasionally lazily stretch his arm toward the small table (on which Kakashi was now resting his feet, even though he always scolded Sasuke for doing the same thing) to grab another handful of blueberries, which he ate without paying much attention.
“You know...” Sasuke began, without even intending to take his eyes off the television. “I like these. They're not as sweet as other fruits,” he explained, squeezing one of the fruits between his fingers only to pop it into his mouth seconds later.

Summary
He looked at the dark strand once more, reached out, and closed the metal blades. The sound was sharp and definitive: Snap! A strand of black hair fell slowly onto the wood.
The sound instantly broke Sasuke's concentration. He tensed and turned his body quickly, coming face to face with Naruto and the scissors still open in the air. His eyes widened in surprise as he instinctively brought a hand to the back of his head.
“What did you just do?” Sasuke asked, his voice not angry, but pure disbelief.
