Summary
“Very particular, but loyal. Suited for illusionary magic and games of deception.” Regulus’s wand foretells his future in a single breath when he is just eleven years old.
Year One: Codependence
Coming from a family like theirs, maybe it wasn’t such a surprise that Regulus and Sirius were a little bit codependent. But entering Hogwarts will push Regulus to navigate for himself a world of new friends, a society beyond that of his parents’, and dreams of a strange lake with a glowing green light that calls to him.
Year Two: Mind Games
Walburga Black pushes and pushes and pushes until Regulus’s mind shields can’t take it anymore. They crack—and from this, a terrible, powerful gift is born.

Summary
Regulus is dreading meeting his soulmate. Worse, he has no idea what his sign will be. A mark on his skin, a flash of light when they touch…
Then he wakes up in an unfamiliar body and realises he is one of the very few destined for a soul switch—a body swap.
Usually, this wouldn’t be a problem. Evidently, the universe forgot to take into account his overly protective brother who would treat an intruder in his little brother’s body as a possible demonic entity.
Just his luck.
[or, Regulus and James swap bodies, Remus is stressed, and Sirius is the best brother]

Summary
"My brother didn't drown." Regulus sounds almost insulted by the suggestion. "I am worried he's gone ashore."
"Ashore? That's great! We can look for him there, I'll help you! Do you need a ride back?" James offers, gesturing to his board.
The frown comes back with a vengeance.
"I can't stand on that thing," he says, appalled.
"That's fine, you can kneel, I'll lead us there."
"No, I—" Regulus sighs and looks away. "I shouldn't have come to you," he murmurs under his breath.
OR
Sirius is missing and Regulus seeks out help from a human to find him.

Summary
For James’ entire life, people had been telling him to be careful with his heart. This was not his fault; he couldn’t help that he had always worn his heart on his sleeve, his emotions spilling out of him and filling up entire rooms. Even when he was a small child, still falling asleep in his father’s arms on the couch and needing to be carried up to his room and tucked in with soft forehead kisses, he commanded everyone’s attention when he felt anything about anything. And boy, did James feel.
