He encouters malfeasant officers roughing up a defenseless child. Class is in session with ghosts of another time becoming tangible again. Viv has been fighting all her life, but she's getting burnt out. If an off-ramp doesn't come along, she'll be destitute. Together the two unravel wonderless secrets.

    This story follows V's recovery and healing of past traumas. Lots of fluff and smut with some humorous V antics. Evey tries to navigate his trauma and help him heal while he struggles to accept himself as the new man he has emerged.
