“You’re awake,” Yoongi says, when he finally looks up. He sets the plastic bag on the counter and wears this awkward half-smile on his face, like he isn’t quite sure if he’s happy to see Namjoon. It’s an unusual look when normally, Yoongi has trouble hiding how enthusiastic he is to see Namjoon. “I thought you might sleep in today.”
The concept of sleeping past eight a.m. is a figment of Namjoon’s imagination. “I couldn’t fall back asleep,” he says, joining Yoongi in the kitchen to finish making his coffee.
Silence settles between them, brittle and taut. There’s something amiss in the air. Namjoon racks his brain trying to figure out what it could be.
(or; Namjoon is swimming in the darkness, overworked and anxious, until Yoongi reminds him what he truly values in life.)

Summary
No matter who Namjoon falls asleep beside, he wakes up tangled with them.
Most of the time, it’s harmless, something that dissolves into quiet laughter by morning.
It stops being funny when Seokjin invites everyone to Los Angeles for a holiday. This time, Namjoon is sharing a bed with Yoongi, and the thought of waking up draped over him makes his skin crawl. Because it's his Yoongi-hyung.Sleep has never listened to him anyway, and like driftwood caught by the tide, he always ends up exactly where he shouldn't be.

awww its the first time I read about yoongi teaching autistic kids music integrated into a story, it worked out really great. Also reading about emotionally immature namjoon is very funny for some reason, even if i can see it being true irl at some point... as always I think namgi are perfect together:3

Summary
Yoongi is not looking for love. If anything, he's doing his very best to avoid it at all costs (including literally running away from handsome strangers the second their backs are turned).
When he gets the first letter, he assumes it's just some sort of mistake. There's no way it could be for him. He's not the kind of person that people write anonymous love letters to - but they keep showing up at his apartment, and it becomes clear that the writer is watching him more closely than he ever would have guessed.
It should probably be frightening, but Yoongi can't quite bring himself to be afraid. Instead, he's plagued by a desire that grows stronger by the day, and the steady pull of a longing he thought he'd shoved away entirely.
