The doctor got out his clipboard, looking down at it. “He was with another young man, and they arrived here on foot.”
“On foot?!” Soda said, eyes wide.
“Your brother was unconscious when he arrived, his friend was carrying him.”
“Who? Who was he with?” Soda pressed.
He glanced down at the clipboard again. “A Steve Randle.”
Darry and Soda’s eyes went wide as they stared at each other.
Or:
Steve and Ponyboy get in a car wreck during a severe Thunderstorm. Stuck alone, and injured they're forced to walk to the hospital, both a little worse for wear when they arrive.
When Pony is two hours late during a storm, Darry and Soda are pretty worried. A call from the hospital sends them both reeling.
Will these boys be stronger than they storm they face?

Summary
Requested by @rileyh20 over on Tumblr. Each chapter says how the different members of the gang cooks and they all somehow manage to not give each other food poisoning. There's nothing else more to say, thats literally the entire thing. The title says anyone can cook except for Dally, but in reality for the story its like two thirds of the gang can't cook.

Ponyboy knows it's wrong to want to be dead. And it's not like he's going to do anything about it- it's just a thought. An extremely enticing thought.

Even after everything goes back to normal Ponyboy just can't seem to get his head right. He just needs a distraction. So he starts to sneak out with Curly Shepard, smoke more than he should, and even do some things he knows could be seen as suicidal. But once everyone, (even Curly), starts to worry about his mental state it makes him wonder if his problems are bigger than he thought. Can he be saved from everything- including himself?
