Summary
Out of everything that could kill a hero like him, routine was the one that could only be learned through experience. If it didn’t get yourself killed, then it was going to get a civilian killed in your place.
Hizashi calls him paranoid when he points it out. The present day Shouta would always bush off his concerns and say that it pays to be cautious.
Future Shouta, however, will point towards the kid who sits in the middle row window seat in his homeroom class, and say that, if a routine is what gets a hero killed, then it’s the lack of one that can save someone’s life.
Eraserhead watches as a quirkless kid falls to his death.
Aizawa Shouta deals with the fallout of a kid with unregistered quirk and a mind more dangerous than Nedzu running around, while also living with the knowledge that the world is about to change, with or without his help.
