Summary
There was a small pat on his stomach. Alex looked down, feeling the firm but a light touch under his shirt. He stopped smiling and chuckling and looked down at his stomach. It usually looked flat, but that was farther away. The Redbull shirt was loose but tight on his body, revealing a small little bump up close. Alex didn’t see that before, with the comment making it more noticeable.

Summary
“Max? We need you to answer if you can, mate.” The tone lets him know that this is not the first time he’d been called. He wonders how long he’d been out. Long enough to scare his racing engineer.
He shakes out his head, trying to clear the cobwebs, still not exactly sure how he is, but the team will just be glad to know he’s conscious. Hitting the radio button, he notices immediately that the channel hasn’t been opened.
---Max crashes. His radio breaks. That doesn't stop GP from being there.

Rupert frowns at him, calculating, considering. “I’ll make you a deal, we can set up an IV here and we will sit and we will talk until the treatment is done. Or you can go to the medical delegate and let them decide what needs to be done.”
Max hesitates. He doesn’t know how sick he looks to someone who doesn’t know him. He’s not bad enough that they would be issued a race ban, right? But he also does not want to draw the FIA’s attention to his weight.
“Fine.”

“No relationship is perfect, especially when you have to meet in the middle. But I’m very happy.”
“I gather your Max is not from your world, then?” the reporter gently presses for details.
“Uhm.” Charles looks down at his hands and smiles. His Max. “I’ll just say that… I know how to drive, he knows Aristotle.”Or: Charles is a F1 driver, Max is doing his PhD at Cambridge. It really shouldn’t work. Somehow, it does.

Summary
The door swings open. Charles stares blankly at the room. There’s a cartoonishly styled dog house with his name written above the entrance. The floor is a fake grass, almost too green to be real. There are tennis balls littered around, a couple of frisbees, and some chew toys. His gaze focused on the opposite wall from him where a red collar and leash hang.
