Summary
Mel King was a creature of habit.
There was a specific sort of choreography to her life beyond the chaos of the Emergency Department. A carefully controlled routine, a color-coded calendar, a rigid set of rituals that kept her grounded enough to keep showing up day after day, to keep on doing the work that was required of her to save lives.
Everything was going fine for Mel. Her personal life was predictable, unexciting, and perfectly fulfilling, thank you very much.
Enter Frank Langdon, agent of chaos.

“Mel, breathe.” She hadn’t even realized she wasn’t breathing. Looking back up at him, Langdon came to sit next to her on the stairs. His hand hovered over her back, but it appeared that he thought twice about it before pulling away.
The tears were falling before she could even process them. She felt her chest heave, trying to relearn how to breathe. Langdon’s hand found its way to her back, firm pressure to remind her of his presence. They sat in silence for some time before Mel was able to breathe again and wipe her tears.
“Is there anyone I can call to take you home?” That was the last thing she wanted right now, to be home. Alone.
“No, Becca is all I have.”

“You are sick,” Ilya said slowly, enunciating every word. He sprayed another stream of water into his mouth, and Shane couldn’t help but stare at the way his throat moved. He felt hypnotized, trapped in Ilya’s stare, and the other man put the bottle down. “Have you scene before, Shane Hollander?”
Shane’s expression crumpled before he could wrestle it back under control. He cleared his throat, his stomach cramping uncomfortably. “Have I what? Have--scened with someone? What do you mean?”
“You are sub,” Ilya spoke with the water bottle waving, his voice casual. He ignored Shane’s defensive posture, gesturing to the trash can. “Sub get sick when not scene. When no Dom to scene with,” Ilya trailed off, looking Shane up and down, lingering on his collarless throat before continuing. “Is…unhealthy.”
In a world where subs, Doms, and Switches are biologically determined, subs are not accepted within a Dom-oriented sport like hockey.
Sub Shane Hollander keeps his designation hidden, but when confronted with Dom Ilya Rozanov, he can't fight his designation for long.

Summary
The aftermath of the nogitsune's possession of Stiles has ended up in a very strange and almost unlikely relationship forming between Stiles and Derek Hale. After saving Stiles and regaining his alpha-hood while doing it, Stiles has come to only feel safe when around the werewolf. Sometimes when the memories and the panic attacks are too much they both need more than simple companionship or hugs. Stiles sometimes needs to let go of his control and Derek sometimes needs to take it into his keeping.

Dick settled into his plate of eggs and toast. “He was… home sick?” It came out as a question, Dick’s smile disappearing as his brows knitted in thought. “I can’t tell how bad it was, but he seemed spooked when I woke him.”
Alfred nodded, his eyes shifting towards the study. When the sound of the grandfather clock did not echo in the hall, he sighed. “Master Wayne has not appeared since last night. Came home from picking up Master Damian, I haven't seen him since.” He started to set a tray with tea, plain toast, and a small bowl of pears. “Perhaps the young Master and Master Wayne have crossed each other? It would not be a rare occurrence.”
“I’m afraid they have."
