“Yor.” She screwed her eyes shut and gripped the lapels of his suit jacket tight. Yor would be good. She resisted that primal urge to jerk her arm, kick her leg. “Yor?” She would be good.
Yor craned her head upward and peered through a kaleidoscope. One Loid, three Loids, five—every single one of them peering at her, into her, beyond her. Her lips parted as she traced the movement of Loid’s hand on her back, brazenly turning skin into gilt down the bend of her spine. She tried her very hardest not to gasp.
“It’d be best if you turned around,” he started, cool as ever, “so I can zip your dress up.”
A girl in waiting finally in motion.

Summary
The sounds of mechanical noises meet her ears and it reminds her of Screwllum, of how he treats her so gently and she heaves, something in her chest aching at the movement before she coughs something up.
She stares down at what she coughed up in disbelief. Thoughts both run through her head at a dangerous pace and run out of her mind at the sight.
A flower.
A clematis flower.
Herta has always prided herself on her rationality, on her ability to make people think that she is the perfect embodiment of logic. She herself has always strived to be that. She cannot live without emotions however, no matter how much she tries, and her emotions towards Screwllum threaten to break her composure. The Hanahaki Disease was not a disease she ever thought she could fall prey to until recent times.

Stelle looked up from the cup to meet his gaze. With his hands clasped in his lap and his torso leaning toward her, he was giving her his full attention. And a spark of warmth ignited somewhere around her stomach.
"The monster that lives under the bed," she replied in a barely audible voice.
He tilted his head.
"...What?"
"The monster that lives under the bed," she repeated, more clearly this time.
Dan Heng frowned and rubbed his neck.
"It's the monster from a children's story, if I remember correctly."
Stelle nodded, taking another sip to gather her courage. Just talking about the creature made her shiver.
Reading scary stories before bed can have serious consequences. Stelle finds out the hard way when a terrifying nightmare wakes her up in the middle of the night. Now she's forced to run from the monster of her dreams. Things don't go exactly as she planned, though, and she ends up getting help from someone she wasn't expecting.
