After the events of Part 3, and Mob pulls the trigger under his chin, that’s it. He’s dead. Like all the others, he’s gone. Somehow, dying in Minecraft meant dying in real life too, the consciousness of the player linked between reality and virtual reality.
In desperation, Verity codes Mob’s consciousness into Minecraft before he slips away, and against Mob’s will, he’s forced to live in Minecraft. With Verity.(Living in Minecraft yourself is so different from just playing it on a pc.)
(ps. In this fanfic, Verity was not passed onto the next player, this is because I was so in shock and distraught about the ending and was so desperate to have Mob and Verity together, either platonically, romantically or just together for their dynamics)

Mob pictured villagers attempting ballroom dancing and immediately regretted the thought; he chuckled to himself at the absurdity.
Then Verity asked: "Would you like to dance?" Mob laughed again, a fair bit harder this time. "No?"
"Why not?" Verity asked, a bit faster than he meant to.
"'Cause I don't know how."
"I could teach you."
