A 'missing scene' from my fic, Sir Robert and the Black Knight, but can probably be read just fine without reading that first. This is a short retelling of the Legend of the Giant and the Cobbler, but Dreamling.

Morpheus and Hob enjoy some movie nights together (or mornings, when they should have been unpacking in their new home) only Hob has a *slightly* ulterior motives for choosing the shows that he does.

Dream turned and looked at Hob, frowning. “I can speak to all beings that sleep and dream.”
Well, on one hand, that made sense. On the other hand… “But, birds? Pigeons?”
Dream chided him. “Do not be rude, Hob.” He looked between bird and man, and neither was certain which was being spoken to. “Their reasoning is different from yours, but it is still reason.”
