Summary
Will couldn’t help the way his eyes took in Mike, in all his disarray. Shirt gone, jeans unzipped and slung low, hair out of its ponytail and brushing against pale collarbones, and around his eyes, the eyeliner. It’s been smudged, like Mike had tried scrubbing it off with his fingers, and holy shit, Will thinks he might be dying with the way his body is feeling, Mike hovering above him looking like every wet dream he has ever had.

Mike wears eyeliner and Will freaks out about it.

Summary
After a year of distance, Will and Mike are alone together again—and despite the snowstorm, the space between them turns out to be the hardest thing to survive.

Clearly, he didn't drink. The only person he’d ever even thought about kissing was sitting two feet away from him—and painfully, obviously unavailable.
“You really haven’t?” Mike asked quietly. “Ever?”
“No,” Will said quietly.
Mike studied him, like he was trying to understand something he hadn’t realized was missing before. “Not even once?”
“No,” Will said again. “Not even close.”
“I just… I don’t know. I guess I thought—” Mike muttered, scooting a little closer, slow enough that Will could’ve pretended not to notice. Their shoulders brushed. This time, neither of them laughed it off.
Mike swallowed. “I just think it’s kind of unfair.”
“Unfair?” Will echoed.
“Yeah,” Mike said. “Like… you should get to know what it’s like. At least once.”
