Tighnari recalled how tired he'd been getting at the end of the day lately. Those seemingly random waves of heightened emotion. His periodic, unprovoked nausea.
The snugness of his waistband he'd been noticing for a few days.
"...it could," he whispered, swallowing hard.

Summary
Tighnari is halfway through laughing out a witty response when Cyno stoops down, almost as if impulsively, and presses a kiss to the top of his head.
Tighnari freezes. Cyno must feel it, because he stops moving immediately. "Ah—Cyno—" Tighnari splutters, and Cyno lets out some kind of strangled hum. "What was that for?"
Cyno takes a slow breath and lets it hiss out through his teeth. "Um," he says awkwardly. "Good morning kiss?"
(Five times Cyno kisses Tighnari, and one time Tighnari returns the favor.)

“Cyno?” Worried, he draws closer. Cyno doesn’t budge, continuing to gape at the book like it has the power to immobilize him.
“C’mon it can’t be that bad,” Tighnari laughs a little nervously, placing a hand on the book and tilting it down so he can see whatever it is that has surprised Cyno so badly.
Then Tighnari gasps and stumbles backwards, trying not to let the panic show on his face.
There is a doodle of someone who is unmistakably Cyno on the page. And Tighnari knows exactly who has drawn it.

Cyno ends up finding Tighnari’s diary in a tree hollow that’s full of research about his feelings for a certain someone.
Who the certain person is? The General Mahamatra reading them now, obviously.

Summary
Cyno gets a very special present while his party is still in full swing.
Without even asking if it’s okay, Tighnari crosses the distance to Cyno’s bed. He sits down on the mattress, close enough that he can pluck the book from Cyno’s hands and deposits it on the night table.
“Reading a book while everyone else is getting drunk downstairs?” Tighnari casts a fleeting glance at the title, his attention immediately returning to Cyno. “Everyone always calls you scary because of all the scowling when you’re actually just a nerd.”Bookmarked by Miel_Pops
