Yuuichirou, an ordinary human bored with his ordinary life, suddenly encounters a creature often found in children's fairy tales: a Merman! It's amazing that there are mythological creatures in this world!
Mikaela is a merman who lives alone because her appearance is different from most other mermaids or mermans. Because her physique shows that she is female, but in fact Mikaela is a male. And that made the elders unhappy with him and drove him away, so Mika just wandered here and there, he had a house, but was rarely there, because Mika prefers to be on the surface.

Mikaela Shindo used to be a cheerful person. Everyday was great. He used to be filled with dreams for the future. Now he just dreads everything. What's the use of living when his problems just continue on piling?
However, both lives change upon getting to know each other. Mikaela wanted him to go away, but Yuuichirou was attached to him, dearly.
