Summary
I finally updated Chapter 4.
“You’re old,” Dennis says, watching the mature lines around Robby’s eyes shift as he raises an eyebrow.
“I don’t know what you mean by that, Whitaker, but I expect professionalism from you, whatever this is,” Robby declares, stepping to the side, but before he can escape Dennis’s trap, the omega follows, pressing his chest even more firmly against the alpha. (…)
“A-and… and… you don’t have children, and you’re not married,” Dennis continues, searching for the words and raising his tone with each one. His chin lifts higher, trying to draw Robby’s eyes to his. (…) “It is not at all sensible to court a married omega, Doctor Robby.”
Or: Dennis is tired of hearing the murmurs that follow Doctor Robby’s name, so he decides for both of them to accept the marriage proposal. Though, to be clear, Robby had never actually proposed.
Now, after an unplanned pregnancy, something Michael “Robby” Robinavitch still has doubts about, Dennis Whitaker and Michael begin a turbulent journey of engagement and marriage, marked by the omega’s crushing jealousy and the alpha’s countless attempts to please his young husband.

Summary
Why is Robby giving him lingerie as a gift?
When Whitaker finally stabilizes with Santos’ help, he goes after the real reason he abandoned theology: to become a doctor, get married, and have children.
Unfortunately, his first relationship doesn’t end the way he had planned. Although possessiveness is his strongest trait, it was his compassion that ultimately overruled what might have secured him a solid future.
So he begins spending his nights at clubs, surrounded by Alphas who could never truly have him. He ends up being technically betrayed by an alpha, introduced to him by a friend of Santos, and, wounded in his pride, decides to seek revenge.
What Whitaker fails to notice is that his boss has been courting him quietly, doing everything possible to please him.

What follows are five moments in which Whitaker and Abbot are mistaken for being in a relationship, and one more in which they get so used to it that they simply ignore it.
Or the story of how Whitaker and Abbot became best friends.

Summary
Dennis became a doctor to help people, it was who he was. He expected exhaustion, difficult patients, and teasing from peers, but not the quiet pull toward his grieving senior, Dr. Robby. When a panic attack breaks Robby’s carefully kept distance, Dennis steps in without hesitation. But in the days that follow, what began as compassion starts to feel like something deepee, something Dennis never expected to find in the halls of The Pitt.
