So somewhere between fake smiles at dinners, stolen moments in borrowed clothes and a chaotic gig with a broken glass, the rules stopped mattering.
Now they just have to figure out what happens when the agreement ends, but neither of them wants it to.

Hoseok is glowing with relief, all the exhaustion that had been written all over him before completely washed away. “I thought I’d stay until you woke up, and Jungkookie came to keep me company.”
“Jungkook…” Jimin repeats, voice low as if Jungkook wouldn’t hear him. “Is it…a friend of yours?”
Hoseok’s face goes slack. “Jimin-ah, you know Jungkook.”
Jimin turns to stare at him again. Jungkook sees him try to place him. He sees him fail.
Or: After losing a chunk of memory, Jimin needs to be looked after. With everyone else knee-deep in adult responsibilities, it falls to Jungkook to take care of Jimin until they know what's wrong—even if Jimin has completely forgotten him.
