Summary

The cunt pampers him, dotes on him, fucks him like it's his job, and lets him spend as much time with Ryan as he likes. And Billy lets it happen, reckons that he's earned some palliative care in his last year of life, and can almost forget the guilt.

Summary
AU of Season 3, diverging from Episode 2. Butcher doesn't take Temp V to fight Gunpowder, and Homelander actually suffers the PR consequences of his speech. He has a comeback plan and Butcher is forced to be a part of it, but that's fine—he has a plan of his own.
The scorched earth is briefly put on hold.

Summary
Billy has made a deal with Stan Edgar. Heavy one that is. He has to leave USA and take his "toy" with him. He was allowed that one wish. Just leave Vought alone, don't try to fuck with company again. He accepted because realised he has more people to care about. Those who around him need this chance to start over. And it is up to Billy to step back and be happy with just John. He still puts up a show in the White House. Makes people believe he killed Homelander.
warning: minor canon divergence because Terror died before Easter events. Billy makes a deal with Edgar about John.
