They both wanted him, they both had him, and they both left him alone. They still want him, but does he want either of them? Carrying the weight of saving the world on his shoulders was a lot to take with the two arguing over his head. After saving the world, he’s not only carrying the weight for Thedas’s reform, but extra weight in somewhere other than his shoulders.
