“I kept my promise,” Jayce corrects, “late as I was in doing so. Whatever the Hexcore did to you; whatever you were doing to those people down in Zaun… It was wrong and unnatural.”

There's a line in front of him the color of Hextech blue, and Viktor can't process what he's looking at. Pregnancy has never been in the cards for him. Not just because he never cared to share his body with anyone else before his Glorious Evolution, but because his mind has always been the only fertile ground inside of him. His body was too weak to grow a child, and that was a relief considering the realities of his life.

Summary
It is no secret to anyone who has ever met Jayce Talis that the man has the overall disposition of a border collie. It’s hardly a surprise, then, that he has the libido of a feral stray. His attention turns to pretty skirts easily. His smiles grow seductive at the drop of a hat. He knows a thousand ways to charm, and a million more to close. Every few days, he gets to the lab with scratches down his back and fresh bite marks under his collar, satisfied but never sated.
The problem, of course, is that working on Hextech can be all-consuming; particularly when they're on a deadline. And well…
It has now been over two weeks since he and Viktor were last able to leave the lab for longer than a shower.

“—what it looks like?” Jayce leans forward and takes Viktor by the jaw. His fingers are gentle, but his grip is unyielding when he forces Viktor to look him in the eye. “So you didn't come here to let a whore who looks like me show you a good time?”

“If you keep looking at me like that, I might have to start charging,” Viktor jokes as he comes closer, his voice husky around accented syllables. “My name’s Viktor. You should buy me a drink instead of staring from afar.”
Jayce’s grip tightens around his glass. He knows Viktor doesn't know him — not like this: ten years older and worn down by loss. Still, the reminder that this isn't his partner hurts. Shaking off the pain, he downs his glass in one go and puts it down, before grabbing Viktor by the waist with both hands.
If this is all that he can get from this Viktor, then fine. He'll be the handsome, older stranger in his bed. Anything to hold him close.
