Mikaela Hyakuya has had an absolutely terrible life.
Abused by his parents, left to an exploitative orphanage, not to mention all the abuse he faced at the hands of Ferid.
It's because of these factors that up in Fairyland, Jorgen Von Strangle has decided that Mika qualifies as a fairy god child.
There's just one problem, though. Due to a shortage of fairies in the fairy world, Mika is assigned a vampire instead of a fairy - that vampire being Third Progenitor Krul Tepes.

After a very bad moment of Mom scolding me, I had to close my house's swimming pool because it was raining. Why the heck, what harm could rain do to a pool with water in it ? Whatever.
And then I make the stupid mistake of running, and it costs my life.
Yep. I got drowned. In my swimming pool.
When I wake up again (wtf), it's at the moment the Traveler saves Paimon from "drowning". And he saves me from drowning instead.
And I find myself having Paimon's apparence.

Aka, someone behind the System wants to help, and chooses to do so via shoving specific people's future selves back into their own old bodies in the past, and selectively allowing some other people to see them interact in the System's chat room. Naturally, some major derailing, a lot of heart attacks for some, and overall just a lot in general, occurs.
The rest of the world, not privy in the chat, watches on with mostly pure confusion.
