Summary
As Spider's 19th birthday approaches, he is captured by the Mangkwan who have been laying low after the 2nd War. He is taken back to Bridgehead, the place he thought he escaped for good - where he quickly discovers that the recom of his dead father, Quaritch - is in fact alive and well. After weeks of being subjected to various interrogation sessions with Varang, Spider is introduced to the RDA's latest project - a recombinant version of someone he lost years ago.
