Summary
Most times when Thomas realized he had left the door unlocked over night, it will send him into a tizzy. What could have happened, what may have gotten in neath the midnight's shadows, Virgil spiraling as Remus reveled in a playground of 'what ifs'. But somehow, today, that didn't happen. There were no spirals about what could have happened.
Because Thomas knows, exactly, what had happened.
More or less.

The Keroro platoon are lost in Florida and try to take refuge in an unlocked apartment, but after and incident with the energy bullet they end up getting much more then they bargained for; though maybe that doesn't have to be a bad thing?

Summary
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a mission he doesn't remember volunteering for. Alone on a ship scaled far too large for a borrower, he has to try to figure out why he's so far from home, and what he's supposed to do. On top of that, he needs to figure out why this mission is so prepared to have a borrower on the crew--standing at only six inches tall, it's easy to think none of this was meant for him. And yet, everywhere he looks he finds evidence that whoever built this ship built it with both humans and borrowers in mind.
An impossible task looms over him. A scientific mystery has somehow sent him hurtling through space, impossibly far from any other human or borrower, and it's on him to surpass an extinction-level threat that doesn't care how big someone is. It will end the world all the same if he doesn't do something about it.
But, despite what he thinks, he's not alone.

Grace Rocky save stars! They recovered the Taumoeba, sent the probes to Earth, and Ryland returned to Rocky to rescue his new alien best friend. And now they're halfway to Erid! Sure, Grace is a little malnourished, but he can make it! They've been through so much already, there's nothing he and Rocky can't do!
...Ok, so this new alien was not predicted and honestly, Grace needs to stop jinxing himself. He's not quite sure he wants to deal with whatever giant thing this is that has now taken interest in the Hail Mary. He needs a nap.

“Are you sure you’re up for this?” Virgil asked, laying a hand flat against his desk. Any growl was absent from his voice, a patently sincere look the only thing toward Remus.
Remus lunged forward, splaying his body across Virgil’s palm yet again. He blew a raspberry. “Duh. I got no reason not to be.”
Virgil watched him wriggle in his palm, and Remus resisted the urge to cringe away from that cat-like, predator gaze. The time for blue-balls was later, goddamnit.
Nothing left to do but enjoy the show.
