Summary
For Amara Reyes, the situation is frustrating to say the least. Her driver considers most 'modern' inventions, (engines for instance), to be over tuned and irritating, her cashier/sales girl would rather be pulling and/or turning tricks then handing out free samples, and her food truck is one speed bump away from falling apart. And that's not even mentioning the problem under her skirt. Diapers don't grow on trees.
All Amara wants is a nice quiet life selling quality food to her customers with help from her two best (if slightly irritating) friends. But when you're a vampire, things have a way of getting complicated quickly. Soon Amara's plate is piled high with things other than Flauta Won-Tons and Sub-Gum Nachos. Ghosts, law enforcement, old gods, great danes, college girls, everyone and everything seems to need something from her, and so few of their problems can be solved with a tortilla press.
Someone or something is hiding in this new sleepy town the girls have stopped in, and whatever it is, it seems to be hell bent on making Amara's life more difficult than ever in its quest for power.
Amara and her friends are going to have to step in. Ending the world is bad for business.

“That’s all you have’ta say?” Red exclaimed, bemused. “Your home is gone, and you’re literally stuck in another universe! What do you mean, ‘oh’!?”
“Red!” Edge scolded, shocked at his outburst.
“What!? He should be freakin’ out right now!” Red defended.
“Maybe he’s in shock?” Mutt offered, just as lost.

You were reincarnated to a world of war with a bundle of tiny bones in your arms. With a crazy scientists chasing you for something you don’t even remember doing, trying to escape with your little brother, living a new life that isn’t quite yours, lots of angst, NEW skeletons that probably think you’re crazy, and even more comfort… you are in for quite the wild ride.
The new chapters are now including a skeleton-house that is becoming VERY concerned for your mental wellbeing, (buried after the much-needed war-trauma,) and you have to deal with a whole OTHER group of crazy people judging you. AGAIN.
But… in order to have the best comfort fic, you sometimes need to have the worst angst beforehand.
Or, as Gaster once said… you need to break a few eggs in order to make an omelette. :]
