In which: A person who only has played Undertale nearly a decade ago is reincarnated into Deltarune as... a character that doesn’t exist. Who even names their child: Togore?

Summary
Ten years.
Clover has been trapped in a loop of running through all the different routes of Undertale Yellow for ten real-time years.
Then, during one of the thousands of hateful massacres that have played out, something changes.
Right at the end of the bloodsoaked path, unable to suppress a guilt gnawing at them from within, Clover turns their gun on the yellow flower a touch early.
The gunslinger fights Flowey with an equal level of Determination. The save file is damaged in the crossfire, and the save system is destroyed.The data corruption sends Clover through the void, all the way back to just outside Mt. Ebott, and also ages the gunslinger as well as the world itself by ten years.
While in the void, he sees fragments of events in the other routes, and a vision of a person he's never met before trapped in a certain laboratory.Burdened by the weight of his sins from his last journey, and armed with a vastly more mature body and mind, the fully grown cowboy decides he has to do things differently this time.
No more SAVEs. No more LOADs. No more RESETs.
All actions have permanent, irreversible consequences.
This is their final shot.

Even if that internship at a physics facility had been a paid one, they couldn't have paid her nearly enough for THIS, is what Sage was probably thinking while she ran, and she wasn't even marginally grateful for the fact that she was the first human to ever get to march through alien mud, followed by hungry alien fauna. Imagine! Being the first human to die hundreds of lightyears from Earth, and not a smidge of wonder!
