Scenes from the sixth book, expanded upon into one-shots, because there actually was a time where The Half-Blood Prince was my favourite of the books. [Pause for disbelief.]
This wasn't started with the intention of writing a series. I wrote the first one as more of a project (and under a different title I can't remember; this was in the mid-late 00s) and then reworked it into the fic Diary of a Madman. The second was written because at the time I wanted to explore a bit more, and the third was written to give this the semblance of a trilogy look. If I had the time back, it'd probably just be the first one, but here all three are. I certainly think they're better than other of my teenage works.

Summary
Scenes from the life of Harry Potter, the neglected brother of the boy who lived. The series takes a slice of life approach. An actual story may follow, if I decide to write more within the universe.
At this time, the series takes place in November, 2004. Harry himself is the lone point of view character, which follows him beginning to deal with a past he left behind years earlier and the lingering influences he has never truly moved on from. Interspersed are varying scenes from his childhood and Hogwarts years. With him along the way are such characters as Daphne Greengrass, his fiancée; Remus Lupin, his godfather; Nymphadora Tonks, a relative and Remus's wife; Draco Malfoy, a relative and his eventual brother-in-law; and several others to come.

Summary
This isn't really a series so much as one one-shot and one aborted sequel, but there you are.
Way back in ye olden days of almost everyone in the fandom loving Snape in the wake of Deathly Hallows, teenage Murkatroyd was one of them and wanted to write something that sort of blended canon. Confronting the Past was that goofball's best effort. The sequel, as the first line would suggest, isn't so much a one-shot as the first chapter of a sequel I was not nearly interested enough in continuing. Anyone who wants to use either or both stories as a launching pad for their own is welcome to do so.
