**Update: 1/06/2020** HIATUS STATUS: I am still working on this. I'm trying to finish the first work in this series, before I finish this one, as I don't want to give anything away in the from the first work, even though I kind of already have...….. but that's what I get for being impatient. Basically, what I'm saying, is that I'm still working on it, and I am going to make it my goal, to finish this before the end of the year!
This story mostly follows the first MCU Avengers story line, it will diverge where I feel it needs to, to fit with my story, I will keep all the major incidents as close to the same as possible, but there may be some minor differences.
~The basics~
*reader is a mutant
*reader keeps mutant abilities a secret from everyone
*reader becomes Captain America's personal assistant to help acclimate to the 21st centry
*reader had huge crush on Cap (duh!)
*Cap realizes he has feelings for reader much later
*And much, much more! Just dont want to give too much away!The first few chapters are a little on the slow side, but I think it starts to pick up around chapter 3 or 4. Just keep reading and I promise it gets soooooooo much better!!!

Summary
You never thought you'd get a chance to leave the backwater skug hole that you grew up in, but along came this Mandalorian needing an extra caretaker for the child in his care, and somehow he chose you. So now here you are, travelling across the galaxy and seeing places you never thought you'd get to, with this beskar clad Mandalorian warrior and his small green child. The arrangement is simple. You provide Mando companionship when he wants it, and care for the child while he goes after bounties and in return, he pays you a small portion of each bounty.
It was a great arrangement you had going. Until you started to fall for your armor clad companion. Now here you are, stuck travelling across space with a man that you're head over heels in love with, who would never pay you a second glance or ever think of you as more than a useful crew member.
Or so you thought.
