Chihiro didn’t exactly meet his eyes, looking off to the side of Shiba’s head as he crumpled the paper in his hand. He was uncharacteristically frazzled, a blush riding high on his cheeks and creeping up to his ears while he chewed on his bottom lip —
Rokuhira used to make that same face when he asked Shiba to deliver a letter to Chiaki.
“Ah,” Shiba said. “So… you wanna ask Hakuri out?”
“No.” But after a moment, Chihiro reached up to play with the knot on his bandana, and he looked so much like Chiaki, it was like a punch to Shiba’s gut. “…I think someone like me should live for the sword.”
“Oh my god,” Shiba wheezed, and decided that maybe he did need that cigarette after all.

Then he grabbed a pile of snow and pelted Sophia in the face with it.
(Ryuji realizes Sophia has never seen snow and therefore never built a snowman, had a snowball fight, or made a snow angel. He looks to remedy that.)

That’s it. Technically, he’s part of the Hall of Fame, technically he’s an accepted Champion. Technically, the title was his once, so it will always be his. Technically, he can’t lose it. He just loses being the present Champion.
He also, briefly, held the Kanto record for youngest ever Pokemon League champion. That was until Red, three months younger, caught up to him.
Really, Blue hadn’t even been surprised.

Summary
Spring rolls in like a soft breeze on a warm day. The hills around the kingdom turn green and are speckled with patches of colorful flowers. Birds sing songs outside the castle and the river rushes in the distance, the water from the newly melted mountains- whose peaks are still white with snow- threaten to break over its banks. Hakuri watches the change from his tower, the barred windows keep him from being able to fully reach out and feel the new warmth on his skin. He sighs longingly watching the people below him wander about freely. His resentment towards them only grows each day and they’ve done nothing to deserve his hatred, the only thing that feeds his distaste towards them is the green monster clawing its way out from the depths of his core.

Or the one where Hakuri is a prince trapped in a tower and Chihiro is his loyal knight in shining armor.

“Okay! Let’s do it!” Kel declares, pumping his fists, “Let’s kiss!”
Sunny nods to show that he’s on board. Kel nods back.
“Great!”
They stare into each other’s eyes. One moment passes, then two. Neither of them move a muscle, as if they’re locked in a standoff. A third moment passes. Sunny can practically hear the silence in the room. A fourth moment, and the fire in Kel’s eyes begins to diminish, along with his determined smile.
“…I have no idea what I’m doing.”
Sunny can’t help himself. He bursts out laughing.Or, after Sunny confesses his feelings to Kel, they share their first kiss... or at least, they try to. Who knew that kissing was so hard?
