"What'd I do to deserve you?" Sukuna mumbles, sighing. His chin rests on the fluff of pink hair, burrowing his nose into it a second later. Inhaling the scent of artificial soap with some silly name, the cologne Sukuna recently bought him. And the faint whiffs of honey and peaches. It's addicting, an addiction he would happily give his life to.
"You must've been a saint in your past life." Yuuji theorizes.
Sukuna snorts. "Something like that."

Yuuji finally began to get used to life in Cell 9B. His cellmates turned out to be genuinely good people, even if their behavior was incredibly chaotic. and he might have started developing feelings for someone, it's Sukuna!
Sukuna was just an ordinary office worker caught up in an ordinary criminal case or at least, that was what everyone believed, Yuuji included.

Gojo Satoru thought he'd be forgotten eventually if death decides to take him.
That's how the life of a sorcerer was supposed to work. No one would know when they would die or when they would last spend their time with their loved ones. People will grieve, they will heal, and they will continue living. He knows his students would cry, curse him for leaving, then grow into the sorcerers he always believed they could become.
The moment Satoru gets sealed, he expected darkness and pile of bones await him on the other side. Instead of such things, he found himself in a place he could recognize and at the same time, couldn't.
Everything changed, and everyone is gone.
