“Writing a letter to Will!” He shouted. Glancing at the clock, he bolted up from his chair and grabbed his bag, running downstairs.
“Make sure to mail it now, or else he won’t get it in time for Christmas,” his mother reminded him.
“Sure thing,” he said, fully intending to burn it when he got home.
Upon seeing a letter addressed to him from Mike in his mailbox, Will was completely livid.
Mike writes a "letter" to Will to help make sense of his feelings. His mom assumes he forgot to put it in the mailbox and sends it to California.

Yes, I am posting Beyonder fanfiction in 2021, and yes I did just start rereading it and wanted more content.
TRIGGER WARNING there will be mentions of suicide, they're small but they will be there, there will also be mentions of alcohol and gambling later in the story.
(I made a few edits cause I noticed a few things in the notes and tags that didn't fit with the way I'm taking the story now, I also just put together that when Jason and Ferrin first meet Jason was like 13 and Ferrin had been working for Maldor for years and was a whole ass adult and now I can't write them in a relationship, big age gaps make me incredibly uncomfortable and now I just can't get past it.)
