Micah is on a mission. He has been on many different missions in his life but this one, at least, he wants to be in. For the first time he is allowed to want something, to have it for himself.
He has a lot to learn, and he wants to know everything he can before they get to take it all away. He knows though, if they come, this time he will not stand docile and let them destroy his world without a fight.or; the story of some found family who just wants to live in peace, with a force behind them not letting them have it.

Jon knew Damian better than anybody.
He knew his heartbeat, the rate of his breaths, all of his tiny micro-expressions he thought he knew how to hide. Jon spent most of his time with Damian. It was impossible for Jon to not know everything that was going on with him.

“Why? Why won’t you ever tell me what’s wrong with you?” Carlton’s voice is filled with frustration, and it sounds like nails on a chalkboard to Will.
What is wrong with him. It’s such a loaded question. Why does Will wake up screaming sometimes? Why can’t Will handle the cold? Why are there days when Carlton’s hands on him feel like being kept under water with no way up?
And why can’t Will tell Carlton the truth? How could Will possibly explain it without sounding insane? What is the human translation for being taken and kept in another dimension, violated, and possessed, only to then be violated yet again—
This part of him is something Will is never going to be able to share with anyone else. That nobody would understand.
Why won’t you tell me what’s wrong with you.
“Because you wouldn’t get it.” Will somehow manages to say it without gagging.
And then, Carlton goes in for the kill.
“Oh, but Mike does?”

Sir Michael tilted his head, squinting at Will. Without warning, his hand came to cup Will's cheek, turning his skin at least ten degrees warmer. "He looks like you," Sir Michael continued, "and he has your name. Your moles, too."
His thumb came down to brush the mole over Will's top lip. The touch felt soft, strangely reverent. "My— moles?"
Mike had the same sentiment, albeit with more displeasure. "His moles?"
Will makes a wish. Sir Michael the Brave comes to fulfill it, but Mike Wheeler makes his wish come true.

“Uh-huh,” Mike says faintly, and he yelps when they narrowly avoid the edge of a shining skyscraper, and his hands clutch onto Spiderman instinctively. “Oh – my fucking God, that –”
Spiderman’s fingers press a little firmly into Mike’s shirt. "Just – hang on!"
"What do you mean just hang – was that a pun," Mike sputters, clutching onto Spiderman for dear life as they swing through the city, and he can hear the superhero laugh through the racing wind in his ears, the rumble of it under Mike’s arm wrapped around his middle.
In a city of superheroes, Mike keeps running into Spiderman, much to his dismay.
On a completely different and unrelated note, Mike also attempts to woo and charm his neighbor into a date.
