Summary
Robin is a figment. A blooming mind-palace of colors and stench. Yellow oozes down walls like wounds drooling puss, and bodies rot red and black and bleed down stairwells without stairs. Robins have wings; they have no need for stairs.
But the time for that has faded, and wings feel like cold air and nothing. The present is for warmth and a small body cradled inside his moth-eaten sweater. Dreams are nothing and so is he, and Jason is still a soft-cheeked child. And he matters. He is the world, and the world is love and fear, and the hope that spring will come before the dark can eat them both.
---
Dick and Jason grow up together on the streets. This changes nothing. And yet, it changes enough.

Summary
Jason is eleven months old, Bruce is stuck at a three-day Justice League meeting on the Watchtower, and Alfred is holding down the fort at the Manor — managing oatmeal disasters, bath time negotiations, and a baby who treats shoes as a personal affront.
Then Jason says his first word.
It's dada. And dada isn't here.
Alfred Pennyworth does not accept this as a permanent state of affairs. He packs the diaper bag, straps a baby to his chest, and teleports to an orbiting space station, because some things are more important than protocol — and a baby calling for his father is one of them.Bookmarked by NightTempest

Summary
Jason is six. Halloween was four days ago. There is still glitter in his hair. And someone had the audacity to play Christmas music on the radio. He's bringing it up with his daddy. At the Watchtower. During a Justice League meeting. He has a briefcase, a notebook, and a turkey named Gerald. He is not leaving until something is done about this.

Bookmarker's Notes
I am so in love with this little business man 🩷
I would sign his petition in a heartbeatJust brilliant work of comedy that made everything feel slightly brighter at the thought of this small child, his business outfit, and briefcase.

Summary
Alfred Pennyworth has seen many things in his years of service to the Wayne family. An eight-year-old Jason Todd reading Fifty Shades of Grey in the manor library was not supposed to be one of them.
When kids outside school call Jason a nerd and hand him "pop culture" reading material, Jason makes it exactly four pages before the contracts confuse him and Alfred's soul leaves his body. What follows is an emergency trip to the Watchtower, a Justice League meeting derailed by the World's Smallest Literary Critic, Dick Grayson making the mistake of mentioning kissing, and Bruce Wayne discovering exciting new reasons to buy a school.
Jason's verdict: the book is an abomination, Jane Austen would never, and there's only one man qualified to handle this level of literary evil.
John Constantine agrees. The book doesn't even deserve proper Hell.
(Mr. Darcy remains unbothered. Pride and Prejudice remains supreme. Tommy Barker's parents receive a very polite fourteen-minute visit from a billionaire.)Bookmarked by NightTempest
