    ⭐⭐⭐Time travel 1935. Oops. Loooooong fic. After Dept of Mysteries and Sirius' death, Harry finds himself joining 6th year Gryffindors including Charlus and Minerva as Harry Evans. Horcrux removal is no effort for Nicholas Flamel who, along with Perenelle, becomes Harry's found family. Headmaster Dippet. Transfiguration Professor Dumbledore. Defence/Duelling lessons with Madame Nott. Arcturus attempts to keep the peace among the Slytherins but is failing among pureblood discontent. Abraxas is a wanker. Ch 1-19 to end of 7th year. Then hit wizard Harry, aka The Serpent. Harry's missions around Europe bring him into conflict with Grindelwald. Also to the notice of the ICW. Interesting interaction in Harry's blood between phoenix tears and basilisk venom manifests in unusual bond with Harry's wand. Middle part esp Ch 30-60 is war fic, verging on WWII fic. Trench warfare. Newt Scamander uses his thunderbird instead of an owl. Spooky winged shadow snake familiar. Dumbledore is a sad figure once war starts but no bashing. No smut. Eventual slowest burn ever HP+MM. Found while looking for over-powered Harry recs.

    Originally written around the time DH was first published (2007) - alternative DH events. Draco is killed by Kingsley Shacklebolt in a Death Eater skirmish summer before 7th year. Two months later he turns up alive and apparently a Gryffindor after a banishing spell gone awry. The existence of a transdimensional Malfoy becomes a bit of a bonding experience for everyone. Harry starts getting feels. But Draco keeps fading in and out of reality. Mid-horcrux hunt. Voldemort's not dead yet. Non-canon 7th year, Headmistress McGonagall, Slughorn for potions, no Snape, no Carrows, not clear who's teaching Defence. Drarry.

    Harry Potter with the Power the Dark Lord Knows Not

    [*SPOILER-ISH*]
    Fourth in series, starts summer, Dumbledore ousted as Chief Warlock. Betrothal discussions. Ravenclaw Harry. GoF main arc, but no dragons or maze. Harry has perfected the Malfoy raised eyebrow. The twins have become Harry's fast friends. Detente between Neville and Draco. Weasley twins love. Skeeter is a sneaky coleopteran according to Luna. Harry figures he'll have to look that one up. Traditionalist vs not. Skeeter's articles out Harry as a parselmouth. Harry is 'excommunicated' by the Ravenclaws then catches Dumbledore trying to use leglimency on him; Dumbledore fights arrest and ends up a fugitive - still a dick. Is it bashing though? Slytherin offers Harry safe haven. Great Horned Owl Harry. Ron is beserk, some bashing required. Minor intolerant/rigid Hermione but no bashing. Final showdown with Voldy in the arena. Somewhat open-ended for the secondary/minor characters. Harry + Daphne.

    Harry Potter in the Claw of the Raven

    Ravenclaw Harry. Baknog the goblin helps Harry when he visits Gringotts and fuels his thirst to understand magic. Harry befriends Terry Boot, Takashi Noda, Draco (Draconus!) Malfoy and demonstrates an aptitude for potions to Snape's very guarded delight. Also a complete lack of interest in the third floor and its occupants - to Dumbledore's disappointment. Goblin healer Axecure is trying to get to the bottom of Harry's scar. Dumbledore is Harry's guardian. A dick. Minor Weasley twins content, almost zero Ron & Hermione. First in series.
