Summary
Tim goes missing during what was supposed to be a simple recon mission, leaving behind a trail of broken clues, stolen phones, and coded messages only Jason can follow.
Jason answers every call.
Even when there’s no voice on the other end. Even when Tim only has ten seconds to breathe down the line and whisper some half-delirious clue from an old case. Even when the whole city starts narrowing around the awful fact that Tim is hurt, alone, and running out of time.
Tim knew Jason would pick up.
Jason just has to find him before the line goes dead for good.
Or: Jason Todd has spent months not kissing Tim Drake. A trafficking case, several blocked-number phone calls, one collapsed stairwell, and Tim’s terrible timing finally do something about that.

Summary
Bruce calls it monitoring.
Jason calls it a leash.
Tim calls it a bad idea approximately twelve minutes before Red Hood finds the first tracker and sends him a photo of it drowned in diner cola.
Assigned to keep Jason Todd from escalating a weapons-trafficking case into a body count, Tim expects resistance. He expects threats, broken surveillance equipment, encrypted insults, and Jason being exactly as infuriating as every report says he is.
He does not expect Jason to be careful with scared kids. He does not expect Jason to trust him with dead drops, safehouses, and secrets Bruce does not get to know. He definitely does not expect to end up in Jason’s lap at five in the morning, grinding against him while case files slide off the couch.
When a corrupt Gotham councilman puts a bounty on Red Hood and targets Tim as his handler, the case turns into a trap built around everything Jason is afraid to want and everything Tim is too tired to hide.
Jason Todd does not need a leash.
Tim Drake might need to stop pretending he only follows him for the case.

Summary
“Oh, are you guys talking about Jason?” said a familiar mechanized voice from across the rooftop, and the Bats spun around to spot the Red Hood casually leaning against the rooftop access door. “I miss that kid, he was a riot. Hope he’s doing alright.”
There was a moment of silence as the entire group stared at Red Hood, processing his words, and then Red Robin blurted, “Wait, you know Jason?”
“Sure,” Red Hood responded breezily, amusement written in the lines of his posture. “We got pushed into the Pit at the same time. He went a little crazy and fell off a cliff, but shit could only go up from there, am I right?”
The Bats find out that Jason Todd is alive and apparently has questionable taste in friends, if the Red Hood is any indication.

That was it.
The absolute, final, last damn time.
Dick was going to kill Jason Todd. Slowly. Painfully. With his bare hands if necessary.
As soon as he could catch him.
What starts as a furious rooftop chase through Blüdhaven turns catastrophic when three Justice League members decide to "help" Nightwing apprehend the "dangerous criminal" Red Hood.
One blast of golden energy.
One sickening crunch.
Jason hits the wall and doesn't get up.
And Dick Grayson—the smiling, charming, well-adjusted one—stops smiling.
(Featuring: pudding-related property damage, Jason's concussed Disney princess revelations, three Justice League members who made a terrible mistake, and the rage Dick Grayson has spent years learning to hide.)Series
