Forget about Rozanov coming all over his own stomach as Shane watched, transfixed; forget about Rozanov’s hand curving possessively around Shane’s jaw to pull him in for a kiss. Forget about the dizzying, red-hot bolt of shame and anticipation and fear and arousal that had shot through him when Rozanov stroked two fingers down between his ass cheeks and pressed there—a question, an offer. A promise.
(In which Shane responds to Ilya’s texts between 2011 and 2013.)
“Stop saying dick pic,” Shane hissed. “This is harassment.” He glared at the bulge in his pants. “You are harassing me.”“I do not know what this word means.”
“How fucking convenient for you.”
“Aw, Hollander,” Rozanov said, but he sounded a little contrite. After a beat, he asked, “Do you want me to stop?”
“Don’t you dare stop,” Shane said through clenched teeth, surreptitiously palming himself to take the edge off. It didn’t help.
“So do you want my dick or not?” Rozanov asked after another beat.

“Ilya, what are we gonna do?” Shane says.
Ilya finishes whatever he has been doing on his phone, and tosses it gently to the bed beside him. He crosses the room to Shane, stands in front of him, squeezes into his shoulders with his big hands, rubbing them like he means to warm them up.
“Looks like we will have a little vacation,” he says, with a big obnoxious grin.
Boston and Montreal are sent to Paris to play against each other in an exhibition series in January 2017. Ilya and Shane decide to stay in Paris for one more night. Just one more night, so they can talk. Maybe finally understand each other.
They aren't expecting a volcano to erupt in Iceland and close all the airspace in Europe, leaving them stranded there. Together.

Summary
Shane Hollander spends the 2010 Prospect Cup Tournament in a small room, being questioned by police. He thinks that telling the truth will save him. Instead, he’s betrayed by his teammates and pushed to the forefront of a scandal that destroys his chances with any NHL team. Only one professional hockey league is willing to look the other way.
Desperate to play, Shane Hollander signs a contract with the KHL, packs his things, and moves to Russia.
(Or: As he grapples with a scandal, Shane gives up on the NHL and ends up playing on Ilya Rozanov’s KHL team in Moscow. Timeline compliant AU – we don’t know what Ilya was doing in 2010 before he was drafted, so it’s possible he spent some time in the KHL)

Summary
On an off-week from the NHL in Spring, Shane is flabbergasted to be bitten by a fairy while gardening at the cottage. The fairy is hurt and feisty, but Shane decides to help the little thing as well as he can. Soon their daily life are closely intertwined, and Shane finds himself enjoying the fairy's company though hardships almost separates them in the beginning.
