This is a very (very) long analysis of my own view of the dispute in CACW, and the discourse that followed. It is a fairly openly Team Tony analysis that none the less focuses mainly on defending Steve, and critiquing the treatment he gets from both the audience and the writers.
It is written by someone who loves both characters very deeply.
I am not expecting anyone to read it - If I'm honest, I don't know why anyone would be this interested in my opinion on this. Summary

Dean's brought into the LAPD and they find out that his dad is wanted for credit card fraud, drunk driving, and suspected child abuse and child neglect. John (Winchester) is arrested and now Sam and Dean need a place to stay. John (Nolan) and Bailey had applied for the foster program, so Nolan volunteers to take them in.
