Anakin focused on playing it up, lower lip trembling, peering through his lashes at the new threat in the room. “T-thanks,” he said, taking the offered hand all while running a complex algorithm that basically boiled down to: how the fuck do I get out of here in one piece? Did he make a run for it? Knock the bastard out? Play it coy?
Those calculations died when he saw the blood.
The man glanced down at himself with mild interest. “Ah, yes. Unsightly, isn’t it?”
"Not the word I’d use,” Anakin deadpanned, shocked into dropping the scared and helpless act.
“No, perhaps not,” agreed the stranger, whose grayish-blue eyes lit up.

Summary
Obi-Wan has the sheer nerve to imply that Anakin is ill-suited for a mission he himself is going on, which means that Anakin will stop at nothing to prove his old master wrong. After all, Anakin can do anything Obi-Wan can do, thank you very much.
Even if maybe, just this one time, Obi-Wan is right. This mission relies on the one area of Anakin's life he's never spent much time or effort thinking about: his omega designation and Obi-Wan's alpha one.
But there's no way that Anakin is going to back down now. What will Obi-Wan do? Go to the planet with another, non-Anakin omega? Don't make him laugh. He's Obi-Wan's partner. And Obi-Wan is his alpha.
Alpha master.

Anakin and Ahsoka--alright, fine, just Anakin--crash their spacecraft on the outskirts of a small village in the midst of a terrible storm. Seeking shelter for the night, they knock on the first cottage door they see. Obi-Wan Kenobi lets them in.
Ahsoka has a bad feeling about this. Anakin has many feelings about this, none of them bad.
Because surely this can't be a trap. Surely the universe is paying Anakin back for all of his good deeds lately by setting him in front of a breathtakingly beautiful stranger with the prettiest blue--gold?--no, definitely blue--eyes he's ever seen. Absolutely.
