“What do you need?” Neil asked into the space between them, eyes following Andrew’s. Waiting. Instead of answering, Andrew leaned in to kiss him again, not as intensely as before but with intent and Neil met Andrew’s lips with his own.
Andrew’s hands moved lower and lower until they came to rest, cupping Neil’s cock through the fabric of his pants, which twitched predictably at the touch. While his lips wandered their way up Neil’s jaw. Neil tilted his neck to give Andrew better access, closing his eyes at the feeling of Andrew’s warm, soft lips wandering higher and higher, nipping at his earlobe before he stopped there, hovering. Neil felt Andrew’s breath on his skin, the fine hair sensing the closeness, not quite touching, it sent shock waves through Neil’s whole body.

Neil has been on the run since the day he turned into something his father didn’t want, but losing his mother changed everything. Neil can’t survive on his own, he just isn’t strong enough, the only tool he has left in his arsenal is to stay shifted, remain a wild animal for as long as possible. He only gets drawn into a populated area because he’s starving, and he only stays for a little bit because he can’t help but be intrigued. Then Kevin fucking Day gets involved, and suddenly Neil is stuck.
Injured, paranoid, and trapped in the body of an animal, Neil is at the mercy of the foxes’ kindness. And he’s never been one to put faith in the kindness of others. But the foxes are, in their strange ways, kind; Abby is firm in her care, Wymack is gruff in his concern, and Andrew is hilariously blasé in his curious interest. But Neil is running for a reason, even if he’s not sure he wants to run anymore.
