"A shot?!" Changbin blurted out, stunned.
"Yeah, a shot. He hung around with kinda bad people, but whatever. Point is, he got shot and refused to go to the hospital for, like, an hour because he thought his alpha strength would let him tough it out. Dumb idea. He almost died, but thankfully, he’s alive." Hyunjin crossed his middle finger over his index, as if sealing the truth of his words.
Changbin was speechless for a moment, blinking at the cheerful face in front of him. He couldn’t decide whether he found the boy even weirder now, or if he should just focus on how unrealistically pretty he was.
"Thanks, but I don't need to go to the infirmary. The pain's already fading."
"Alright!" Hyunjin smiled, pulling the ball a little closer to his chest. "But if you get shot..."
"I'll go, don't worry."{xxx}

Chan really should not have allowed Changbin's best friend to live with them for a few months. Lee Minho is rude, abrasive, a real brat, and just plain weird. He treats their home like one of those touch tanks at the aquarium and seems to be under the impression that this is a hotel. Oh, and he stole Chan's room from him. Not just his room, but his bed too.
Chan really dislikes this guy even if he is pretty.

'It’s starting to hit him that perhaps what he’s doing isn’t right.
But the store wastes so much; forcing him to throw out bags of rice with tiny holes in them, or cans that have dents in them, or meat because it’s almost at its best before date; and makes so much in spite of their complete lack of care for their stock. What’s the difference in the end? At least what Felix is doing means people aren’t going hungry when they don’t need to.
(He knows deep down that he’s being biased - that he was being biased from the second he first saw Chan’s blinding grin - and that it’s selfish of him to subject the other to this just so Felix can know he’s eating enough, but once he started it quickly became impossible to stop himself.)
Anyway, what’s the worst that can happen?'
Or, Felix is a shop worker that covers most night shifts, Chan is a starving student. When Felix picks up on signs of Chan’s poverty, he can’t stop himself from ‘forgetting’ to scan certain items when putting his shopping through. He’s working for a company worth billions, surely a few thousand won here or there won’t make much of a difference to them?
