Summary
Remy is a rat that has always known he was different. No one else in his colony cared much for what the strange looking humans did or said, which was fair because they usually weren’t all that nice to rats. However, Remy has always been fascinated by humans, specifically, their cooking.
Nedzu has only ever met one other animal with a quirk that wasn’t in that horrible lab all those years ago. A crow, already intelligent enough, with a magnetic quirk. It used its quirk to pull shiny objects towards it and then left them on a person’s windowsill for treats. He enjoyed knowing there were other animals out there who flew under the radar like that, and was very open to meeting any others.

That was magnificent. I don’t remember how I found this fic, but I just had the tab open for who knows how long, skimmed the summary, and said “fuck it”. Best decision I’ve made this year. Might reread when I inevitably forget I’ve read this and most of the plot. Thank you author for this lovely addition to my bookmarks. The smut was really well written too, so kudos to you (literally already gave kudos).

“Yeah,” Bakugo sighs and leans back on his hands, staring at the bracer. “I know. I’ll go,” his mouth twists a little. “I’ll go tomorrow. This is just- this is my design you know?” he’s not explaining himself very well, and refuses to look at Kirishima.
“It can be hard to give up your first hero design, and you did a great job,” Kirishima said. “You definitely had the best one out of all of us when we first got our costumes."
Bakugo hunched his shoulders. “I didn’t design it,” he grumbled.

This is such a cute feel-good fic that makes clouds look hard it’s soooo fluffy. Slow burn yes, but the moments between the characters and the ending are so good. Also, love all the jokes from Shinsou and the nicknames from Bakugou like Ripley and Katy Perry.

Summary
The streets were a mess. Lifeless bodies were all over, both heroes and villains. There was blood on the ground and on the walls of surrounding buildings. Civilians nearby were screaming and crying. They begged for help. Some tried to run from the destruction. Choked out cries filled up some of the hero's ears. As always, reporters were there. They were trying to record the gruesome scene. The sight before them reminded them of the Kamino ward incident.
Mothers watched as their sons got beat to the ground by villains. Siblings watched as their sister fought for her life. Fathers watched as some of their sons took down a villain. All their hearts pounding in their chest as they begged and begged for their loved ones to be okay. God please, let them be okay after this.
A new scar to the face, a cut on the cheek, a broken wrist, shattered glasses fell to the floor, a cough of blood, a cry, a villain hugging a hero as she sacrificed her own life for her enemy, a flash of green lightning.
They continued watching even as they saw the building crumble.
