Summary
Within the Village Hidden in the Leaves, working as a medical aid and young chunin, Sakura works diligently and effectively to help her village as she can. Stuck in a bad breakup, a worse rebound relationship, girl problems, family problems, and the overarching crushing weight of being associated with Team 7 and the Hokage, Sakura is doing Ok. For a girl in wartime, that is.
When a chance at promotion comes up, the council wishes to test the Hokage’s student by assigning her to a mission. A recall mission. After receiving a mysterious set of orders, a small team of specialists is sent on a mission to retrieve a soldier from the front lines of war. But all is not as it seems, as Sakura, the assistant and student of the Firth Hokage to the Village Hidden in the Leaf, must fight on two fronts as she navigates a political minefield and a literal war front.
